12 Day Uganda Wildlife Safari and Rwanda with Lake Kivu
This safari joins Uganda and Rwanda's Lake Kivu. Uganda will expose you to the primate capital in Kibale forest national park as you look for the chimpanzees. You will then enjoy the best of Queen Elizabeth national park as you look for the elephants, lions, leopards, kobs and other animals in the park before you transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park to see the great apes. You will then transfer to Kigali for your Rwanda safari.

Arrival
On arrival you will be picked by your guide from the airport. He will brief you about the safari and then transfer to your lodge for relaxation and overnight. (This depends on your arrival arrangement and time.

Transfer to Kibale forest national park
After your served breakfast, you will drive to Kabalore district through the Mityana - Mubende road. This journey takes about 5 hours of drive until fort portal town.
You will then have your lunch in fort portal before you proceed to your lodge close to Kibale forest national park.

Chimpanzee tracking and wetland sanctuary
Wake up early in the morning to your served breakfast, your guide will then drive you to the park offices for registration, briefing and then you set off to the forest.
You will join the rest of the team to the park escorted by a ranger and a guide who will take you through the tracking.
This normally takes 4-6 hours and you will be given an hour with the chimpanzees as you take photos and also learn the behaviors of the chimpanzees.
You will then have a lunch from the community. After lunch you can swamp walk where you can see seven types of monkeys. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
You will have a late breakfast and then drive your way to Kasese towards Queen Elizabeth national park.
This is a journey of 3 to 4 hours leading you to your lodge to check in for lunch as you prepare for the boat cruise on the kazinga channel in the afternoon.
After lunch you will take a boat ride on the Kazinga channel as you get introduced to the aquatic animals such as hippos and crocodiles.
You will also be able to see some animals such as elephants and buffalos that will have come by the channel to quench thirst and also bath to cool their temperatures.
You will also be able to see many birds both aquatic and savanna birds while on the boat. This takes 2 hours and then you will later go for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains in search of cats and other animals.

Morning game drive and transfer to Ishasha sector
After an early breakfast, you will do an early morning game drive in search of the cats and other nimals so as to raise your chances from the last evening's game drive.
Most cats such as lions and leopards are active very early in the morning as they hunt for their prey. The game drive takes 3-4 hours and you will then drive your way to Ishasha sector after lunch reaching in the afternoon.
Check in at the lodge and relax as you prepare for the evening game drive in search of the tree climbing lions.

Early morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
After breakfast, you will go for a morning game in search of the tree climbing lions and other animals like the leopards, topis, elephants, kobs among others.
After your game drive, you will check out of the lodge to drive your way to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. Reach in the late afternoon to check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early morning breakfast at the lodge and the drive to the park headquarters with your packed lunch. Join others at the office for briefing about the dos and don'ts to the gorillas and with the gorillas.
You will be escorted by a ranger and a ranger guide as you then head to the forest. Tracking normally takes 4-6 hours depending on where the gorillas will have slept the last night.
On encountering the gorilla group, you will be allowed one hour of interaction with the gorillas as you take photos and learn their behaviors. You will then get back to the lodge.
Check out and drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and overnight.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National park
After breakfast, you will do a boat on Lake Bunyonyi and then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Reach early to have lunch and check in at the lodge. Later go for an evening game drive with expectation to see zebras, giraffes, topis and Impalas among others. Transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Entebbe
Early morning breakfast, you will do a morning game drive as you exit the park to Entebbe. Lunch en-route as you proceed to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the equator photo moments and also buy some souvenir in case you need. You will then proceed to your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe for your flight out.

Today after taking your relaxed morning breakfast, later head for Kigali city tour, with a visit to Kigali genocide memorial ground, later have lunch and later in the afternoon after receiving your results, drive to your booked accommodation in Gisenyi. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Coffee and boat ride on Lake Kivu
After having your early morning breakfast, will head for a coffee experience at Kinunu, where you have a crop to cap coffee experience, later you will be transferred to for a boat ride in Lake Kivu, for a great boat experience, touring this beautiful lake, with great islands and bird species and later return to your lodge late lunch and afternoon at leisure.
