Our safari in Akagera National Park was absolutely incredible, and that is largely thanks to our amazing guide, Denis from Musana Tours. If you are planning a trip to Rwanda, we recommend him highly enough! From the very beginning, Denis was professional, reliable, and always on time. He is an exceptionally safe and skilled driver, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes.

It was truly a surreal trek and we got to see the silverback gorilla. Driver was very patient and our guides took care of us the entire way. Truly a highlight of our trip!

It was lovely to meet a family of beautiful gorillas. I hope they continue to conserve them and promote ecological restoration in neighboring farmland areas to increase the area where these incredible animals live.

It was a very nice time! We went to Kisoro in the evening, had a very good stay at the recommended accomodation which was also included in the price of Musana! The next day we were brought to Mgahinga National Park in a very nice car and a good and welcoming driver. The experience of the Gorilla Tracking was amazing!! We got to see 3 Silverbacks and many Blackbacks as well as young ones :) We can 100% recommend Musana Tours as the price-performance ratio is very good. We felt very comfortable the whole time and had good support from all the nice and friendly staff!!

I had great guide Denis. They have arranged everything without any problem. We had great Gorilla trek, plus Denis took me to Lokal school, where children prepared for me dancing and singing show. We had also great local dinner included in price of this service.

Musana Tour & Travel handled the tour very professionally, from the first initial email enquiry reply by Richard, the pickup at Kigali, drive to Uganda and all the parks, and drop-off back at Kigali by Denis. The main targets were Gorillas, Golden Monkeys and Chimpanzees, but we had many other pleasant surprises which Denis made sure that we encountered eg the Three-horned Chameleon (both M & F!), the huge horned Ankole-Watusi cattle, etc. The lodges recommended were great. Trips between the parks and Kigali can take many hours but the beauty of the mountains of Uganda (except for the many speed bumps haha!) and Rwanda made up for it.
