Transfer from Kigali international airport or hotel in Kigali to Bwindi in Uganda via Katuna border
Begin your journey with a comfortable transfer from Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali, then head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda via the Katuna border. This scenic drive takes you through Rwanda’s rolling hills, vibrant villages, and lush countryside, offering beautiful landscapes along the way. Your professional driver-guide will assist with border crossing procedures, ensuring a smooth transition into Uganda. The journey continues through southwestern Uganda’s terraced hills and rural communities before arriving at your lodge near Bwindi, where you can relax and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience ahead.

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing before setting off for your gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will hike through dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements from the previous night. Once located, you will spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants up close, watching their behavior in their natural habitat, an unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Transfer back to Kigali, fly to Kilimanjaro
Wake up at leisure, since you will be tired from the previous day. Return to Kigali. Along the way, Visit Heart 2 Heart Child Development Center and interact with children in an African school setting. Proceed to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport.

Transfer from Kilimanjaro/Arusha to Karatu via Tarangire National Park
You will depart early in the morning from Kilimanjaro or Arusha and proceed to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities in a serene setting. After exploring the park and enjoying a picnic or an en route lunch, you will continue your journey to Karatu, a charming town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes approximately two hours, followed by another two-hour scenic drive to Karatu. You will arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, enjoy a well-prepared dinner, and unwind after a rewarding day of travel and wildlife exploration, ready for the adventures ahead.

Full-day game drive in Ngongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive in one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater offers a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five- lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—as well as zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the iconic Serengeti National Park, focusing on the wildlife-rich central Serengeti, also known as Seronera. This region is renowned for its year-round abundance of wildlife. It is one of the best places to spot big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species. You may also encounter elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and a diverse array of birdlife. With its open plains and scattered kopjes, the central Serengeti offers excellent game viewing and photography opportunities.
