Nyungwe forest national park primate Tour
Nyungwe Forest National Park lies in southwest Rwanda, partly abutting the Burundi border. It's a vast area of mountain rainforest, home to many species of chimpanzees, plus owl-faced and colobus monkeys.
The Canopy Walkway, part of the Igishigishigi Trail, is a high suspension bridge with views over the valley and surrounding forests. A trail runs to the Kamiranzovu Marsh, with its bird-life, orchids and waterfall.

Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park and evening canopy walk
Depart from Kigali at 6:20 am and head to Nyungwe forest National Park and you will have your lunch in Huye and depart towards the park for canopy walk, this is the hanging platform which allows safari enthusiasts a chance to view all flora and fauna from a different angle and elevation.

Chimpanzee tracking
Wake up early for breakfast at 4:20 am and head to the park office for a briefing at 4:50. It is time to meet our closest relatives, Humans and chimpanzees share over 99% DNA, making them more exciting to be observed, most especially when they display human behavior.
Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest national park starts early in the morning. Tourists are allowed to spend only 1 hour with the chimpanzees observing them and studying their features and behavior that makes them our closest relatives.
After tracking, we will drive and Return to our hotel.

Kamiranzovu trail and transfer back to Kigali
Wake up early for breakfast drive to the park reception to meet with the park guide for the briefing about the trail. The Kamiranzovu Trail starts between Uwinka and Gisakura, and runs for about 4 km to Kamiranzovu Swamp.
The swamplands are the best bet for spotting other large mammals. Even if you don't come across any other fauna, this trail is particularly famous for its rare species of orchids and birds, including the greater swamp warbler.
After the trail transfer back to your hotel for lunch and check out, drive towards Kigali with a stop over at the king's palace at Nyanza where you will get information and history of Rwandan kings. After that, proceed to Kigali.
