Kigali city tour and transfer to Musanze district
After breakfast, you will meet with our drive guide for briefing about your 5days tour and after you may wish to enjoy a city tour including a visit to Gisozi genocide memorial site and one of the giant local markets in Kigali like Kimironko market.
After the city tour you will have lunch and drive to Musanze city for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Gorilla trekking
After the briefing from senior park rangers, commence your memorable gorilla trekking adventure which normally takes from 1 to 8 hours. You will be allowed to stay in the presence of the gorillas for one complete hour.
After the gorilla trek, your safari guide will transfer you back to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at your hotel

Golden monkey tracking or Dian fossey hike and transfer to Rubavu
In the morning, you will gather at the park headquarters for a briefing. You may either go for golden monkey tracking or hike up to Karisoke research center, established by an American primatologist who dedicated all her life conserving the Dian Fossey lives of mountain gorillas until she was killed and is buried there next to Digit, a mountain gorilla.
You will learn more about the lives of the mountain gorillas at the research center.
On return, you will cross over to Rubavu district. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel near Lake Kivu.

Kayaking and Rubavu City tour
Wake up in the morning for breakfast and a briefing trip in Rubavu city. Rubavu is a pretty town located on the shores of Lake Kivu, Rwanda's main water body.
Relax and enjoy beach activities like sport fishing, boating, and swimming chilling on the lake shore and city tour.
Check in to your Hotel for lunch, dinner and overnight.
