This short wildlife tour takes you to Western Uganda as you explore beautiful landscapes and wildlife in a short period. This tour takes to the smallest Savannah National park Lake mburo national park with beautiful animals such as zebras and giraffes before you transfer to queen Elizabeth national park for a boat cruise and game drives through Uganda's second biggest national park where you are expected to see animals such as Uganda kobs, elephants and cats such as lions and leopards.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After your breakfast, you will drive to lake Mburo national park a journey of 4-5 hours inclusive of stop overs such as the equator stop over for photo moments and short break. You will enter the park through Nshara gate to which you will be welcomed by several animals on the way before you reach the lodge to check in and have lunch.

DAY 2

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and boat safari

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to exit the park through Sanga gate. On your way out of the park you will be in position to see many animals once again. On the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery on the road with many banana plantations, tea plantations and beautiful hills. Reach in the early afternoon to have lunch and prepare for a boat cruise in the afternoon.

You will then drive to the starting point of the boat cruise and embark on your next activity where you are likely going to see several schools of hippos, herds of elephants, crocodiles and many water and savanna birds. After the boat ride, you will drive to the park for an evening game drive to increase your chances of seeing many animals especially the big cats that normally do the hunting late in the evening and early morning.

DAY 3

Morning game drive and transfer to Kampala

Wake up early for breakfast and then drive to the Kasenyi plains in search of the early grazers and the early hunters such as lions and leopards. After the game drive, you will drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe through Mbarara where you may have lunch from depending on the time agreed. Reach later in the evening.
