10 Day Chimpanzees and Wildlife Safari in Uganda
Ten days Gorilla, chimpanzees and wildlife Safari will take you to 4 national parks. On this customized primates and wildlife safari, you will visit Murchison falls national park, Kibale Forest National Park, queen Elizabeth national park or if you like add on Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and Lake Bunyonyi. On arrival, you will be picked up by our company guide who will welcome and brief you about Uganda and your safari. You will then proceed to your lodge for overnight stay and preparation for your safari.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by our company representative / driver who will drive you to Murchison falls national park (a 290 kms and 4-5 hours' drive). En route visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary a 3 hours' drive from Kampala for Rhino trekking experience.
After the activity you will have lunch then connect to Murchison falls national park entering through Kichumbanyobo gate from Masindi town.
Arrive at the park in the late afternoon and connect to your accommodation facility / lodge to rest.

Game Drive and Boat safari
Early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive at the delta where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, hyena, Uganda kobs, among others.
Return and have lunch then at 2pm, you will go for a launch cruise at the bottom of Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy streaming views of hippopotamus and crocodile along the Nile banks, as well as large numbers of different animal species getting down to quench their thirst and bathe.
After the boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, you will hike up the top of the falls from where you will be picked and driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and take on the road for Kibale forest national park for Chimpanzee tracking. The journey is about 260 kilometers and may take 4-5 hours.
Arrive in fort portal late in the afternoon. Check in at the lodge for lunch, refresh and relax after a long drive.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Visit
After breakfast you will leave with your packed lunch and water. Your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for registration and briefing. After briefing, you will be assigned a group with a ranger who will guide you through the tracking of chimpanzees.
At this point will trek through the forest in search of the chimps where you will meet several more primates and birds in the forest. It will take 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees.
On seeing them, you will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures and studying their feeding and living behaviors.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Queen Elizabeth national park for your wildlife safari this takes 2-3 hours' drive. Enjoy the views of the Rwenzori Block Mountains as you proceed to cross the glacial river Nyamwamba which originates from Mountain Rwenzori. Expect to see big gardens along the Mubuku irrigation scheme as you lead in Kasese town.

Game Drive and Visit to Crater Lakes
Early morning after breakfast, you will drive to the Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive that takes 4-5 hours, check in at the park entrance for clearance and proceed into the park.
You will then begin your search for the game with animals like leopards, lions, Uganda Kobs, , elephants among others. Expect to see some birds in the park like the helmeted guinea fowl among others.
Later in the afternoon you will transfer back to the lodge for lunch and refreshing as you prepare for the crater lakes visit late in the afternoon until evening for the sunset view on the Kyambura escarpment as you transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After Break fast, checkout of the lodge, embark on yet another scenic journey to the Switzerland of Africa, Kigezi, just after leaving the park, you will check in at the twin lake for photography but we will have more other stop overs for scenic shots.
Arrive at the lodge in the evening, relax and refresh as you prepare for the upcoming big event.

Gorilla Tracking
After an early morning breakfast, clients will be given packed lunch from the lodge and driven to the briefing point in the park where they will check in and have a briefing. The briefing starts at 8:30am but clients are expected to be there by 8:00am.
After briefing, clients with their ranger guide start the activity as they trek through the impenetrable forest in search of the gorillas, trekking may take 4 hours or more depending on where the gorillas last slept at night.
1 hour is given to the trackers as they take photos and learns more about behaviors of the gorillas; they will then trek back to the office for their graduation ceremony and will be awarded with gorilla tracking certificates.
Your guide will then drive you to Lake Bunyonyi for your afternoon relaxation.

Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up at a convenient time, take breakfast and start the day with a canoe or boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda dotted with 29 islands and a place of very many small birds with a great morning sunrise.
Visit the punishment island and other several islands and transfer back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for the afternoon hike to the top view of the lake.
